Ingredients
1 boneless pound
Salt and pepper to taste
Half a cup of starch
2 large eggs
Half a cup of vegetable oil
Half a cup of sugar
Half a cup of apple cider vinegar
Half a cup of ketchup
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
Half a teaspoon of garlic powder
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Then grease a baking dish or coat it with non-stick spray. To make the sauce, mix the sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic powder together in a large bowl and set aside. Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste in a large bowl. Stir in the cornstarch and stir gently to blend.
Step 2
One by one, dip the chickens into the eggs. Then heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan, add the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Place in the oven and bake until the sauce thickens, about 55 minutes, turning every 15 minutes to evenly coat the chicken.
