Six sweet potatoes (peeled and sliced)
2 cup of sugar
1 (1/2 cup) stick butter
1/2 to 1 teaspoon nutmeg
One teaspoon cinnamon pinch salt
Melt butter in a large cast-iron over medium heat. Add sliced potatoes to coat.
In a bowl, mix sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Add it to the potatoes.
Reduce the heat and simmer for an hour completely covered with the lid. Stir occasionally until the potatoes are fork-tender. If yes, then turn off the heat, put it on a plate and serve it.
