COUNTRY APPLE FRITTER BREAD

Ingredients:

°1/3 cup light brown sugar
°1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
°2/3 cup white sugar
°1/2 cup soft butter
°2 eggs
°1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
°1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
°1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
°1/2 cup of milk
°2 apples, peeled and sliced (any type)
°Old cream glaze
°1/2 cup powdered sugar
°2 tablespoons of milk or cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Use a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan and spray it with nonstick spray or line with foil and spray with nonstick spray for easy release for slicing.
Mixing brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. sit aside.
In another medium bowl, beat the white sugar and butter together using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Beat eggs, 1 at a time, until blended; Add in vanilla extract.
Combine flour with baking powder and whisk together in another bowl and add to creamy butter mixture and stir until combined.
Mix the milk into the mixture until smooth.
Pour half of mixture into the prepared loaf pan; Adding half of apple mixture, then half of brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Put the apple mixture into the mixture.
Spoon the remaining mixture over the apple layer and top with the remaining apple mixture, then the remaining brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Put apples in the mixture. Scrape the brown sugar mixture into the apples using a knife or spoon.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean, about 50-60 minutes.
To make the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and milk or cream together until well blended.
Let it cool for 15 minutes before glazing.
